The
HMS Hood Memorial is located in the De Fortibus Chapel, immediately opposite the south entrance porch, which also forms part of this memorial with its two oak benches with carved backs and the two Vice Admiral's lanterns. For the full Hood story please click here.

These three arches are the oldest part of the church and date from Norman Times. They separate the Nave from the South Aisle and form the inner part of the South Entrance.
The Font is located within the first arch.  In the side of the last column is the remains of a doorway that once formed part of a staircase to a gallery in the Chancel where the choir would have been accommodated during services.
